This policy explains how stratigex.com uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you control them.

It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how the STRATIGeX team handles personal data more generally.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and tracking scripts. We use the word "cookies" throughout to cover all of them.

2. Our approach

Under UK law, specifically the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, we may only place non essential cookies on your device after you consent.

We have taken a deliberately minimal approach. This site runs no advertising cookies and no remarketing tags. With your permission, it uses Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand visits and enquiries.

Analytics remains off unless you accept it in the consent banner shown on your first visit. No Google Analytics tag loads before you make that choice.

3. The cookies we use

Unless you accept analytics, this site sets no cookies.

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies on stratigex.com (such as _ga and _ga_*) to distinguish visits. They are set by Google's code running on this site, and only after you consent. We set no strictly necessary, functional or advertising cookies of our own.

We store your analytics choice in local storage for up to 180 days. This lets the site remember whether you accepted or declined analytics. You can change your choice from Analytics settings in the homepage footer.

4. Understanding how the site is used

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) measures pages viewed and enquiry actions, and that information is sent to Google. If you decline, no Google Analytics tag loads. The HighLevel chat widget loads session and attribution resources whether you accept or decline Google Analytics.

If you submit one of our forms, a summary of the path you took through the site is sent along with your enquiry, so we understand what prompted you to get in touch. That is covered in our Privacy Policy.

5. Third party services

We keep these to a minimum.

• HighLevel (GoHighLevel / LeadConnector) powers the chat widget and receives your details when you contact us through it or submit a form. The widget is loaded from HighLevel and may set its own storage in your browser when you open it. See gohighlevel.com/privacy-policy
• Main site typefaces are served from our own domain. The chat widget loads fonts from fonts.bunny.net, so that provider receives your IP address.

Our booking page is hosted by HighLevel / LeadConnector. It is a separate service with its own privacy and cookie practices.

6. Managing your preferences

On our site: accept or decline analytics in the consent banner, and change your choice at any time from the Analytics settings link in the homepage footer. Using the site, requesting the READINESS^™ study, completing the owner self-assessment and booking a call all work without any cookie being set by us.

In your browser: you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Instructions are in the help section of your browser.

Do Not Track: we do not respond to Do Not Track browser signals, because there is no agreed standard for how sites should interpret them. In practice, if you have declined analytics, Google Analytics is already off.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we ever add advertising tools or further analytics, this policy will be updated and consent collected before they are switched on.
