Please read these terms carefully. By using stratigex.com you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

These terms govern your use of our website and the free materials we make available through it. They do not govern any advisory engagement. Engagements are covered by a separate written agreement between you and STRATIGeX.

1. Who we are

stratigex.com is operated by STRATIGeX Co Intl Ltd ("STRATIGeX", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA.

2. Nothing on this site is advice

This matters more than anything else in these terms, so we have put it first.

The content on this site, including the READINESS^™ study, What Buyers Actually Buy, and the owner self-assessment, and any articles, emails or other materials we provide, is general information only. It is not, and must not be treated as:

• Financial, investment or corporate finance advice
• Legal advice
• Tax or accounting advice
• A valuation of any business, or an opinion on what any business is worth
• A recommendation to buy, sell, retain or dispose of any business, shares or assets
• A representation about what any buyer would pay or agree to

Every business is different. Nothing on this site takes account of your particular circumstances, objectives or financial position. You should not act, or refrain from acting, on the basis of anything on this site without taking appropriate professional advice on your own situation.

3. About the assessment

The owner self-assessment summarises your own answers to general questions. It is not a valuation, a due diligence exercise or a professional assessment of your business. Your answers do not establish what a buyer would pay or whether your business is ready to sell.

4. Automated assistance

Parts of this site may use automated tools, including an assistant that answers general questions and helps arrange calls.

Any automated assistant provides general information and helps with scheduling only. It does not provide advice, does not give valuations, and does not speak to the circumstances of your particular business. Automated responses may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not rely on them. If a question matters, put it to the STRATIGeX team directly.

5. Using the site

You may use the site for your own lawful business purposes. You may download and print the READINESS^™ study for your own use and share it within your own organisation.

You may not:

• Use the site or its content for any unlawful purpose
• Republish, sell, licence or commercially exploit our content without our written permission
• Present our content as your own, or remove any attribution or copyright notice
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or any system connected to it
• Introduce any malicious code, or take any action that damages or overloads the site
• Use automated means to scrape or harvest content or data from the site
• Submit information that is false, or that belongs to someone else without their permission

We may suspend or withdraw access to the site, in whole or in part, without notice.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, graphics, the READINESS^™ study, the assessment, and our name and logo, is owned by or licensed to STRATIGeX and protected by intellectual property law.

Section 5 sets out the limited permission we give you. All other rights are reserved.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee it. The site may be unavailable at any time, for any period, without notice. We may change or remove content at any time.

8. Third party links and services

The site links to third party services, including our booking system and the platforms we use to manage enquiries. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Links are not endorsements. Your use of a third party service is governed by that provider's terms.

9. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Subject to that, and because the site and its materials are provided free of charge and for general information:

• We provide the site and its content on an "as is" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, currency or fitness for a particular purpose
• We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its content
• We are not liable for any business losses, including loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of anticipated savings, loss of goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss
• Where we are found liable despite the above, our total liability in connection with the site is limited to £100

If you engage us for advisory services, the liability position for that engagement is set out in the engagement agreement, not here.

10. Your data

We handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Our use of cookies is explained in our Cookie Policy.

11. Communications

If you give us your email address to receive the READINESS^™ study or updates, you consent to us contacting you by email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by emailing privacy@stratigex.com. We will always honour an unsubscribe request.

12. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, including non contractual disputes, are governed by the law of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute.

14. General

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in force.

If we do not enforce a right under these terms, that is not a waiver of it.

These terms are between you and STRATIGeX. No one else has any right to enforce them.
